The Israeli regulation limits the advertising of alcohol in TV commercials. However, in 2018 TV is still the most effective media for wine brands. So in order to promote Teperberg Winery on TV, we had to rethink wine marketing: We noticed that while the regulation applies to TV advertisements, it doesn’t apply to… movie trailers! So we created Wine Stories: A full-length film that premiered in cinemas nationwide, complete with a series of TV movie trailers that served as ‘commercials-in-disguise’. That’s how Teperberg Family Winery was the only wine brand that was able to freely tell its story on TV.
